The armor, made of a matte, earthy brown silicon rubber reflects no light at all, only absorbing it – while protecting the binocular from bumps and jolts and also keeping it stealthy and silent. These high-powered tools are designed to observe nature from great distances, but with close-focus range to within 10 feet, the Wildlife binoculars are just as useful when studying nearby subjects. The Wildlife offers 16 mm of eye relief, with wrap-around eyecups that block distracting side light. The eyecups can also be pushed back when wearing eyeglass or sunglasses.

올초 생일선물로 받은 steiner safari 8*22 쌍안경을 사용하여보니
광학기기의 차이는 내가 경험하지못한 그 이상이란걸 알았다..
첨엔 독도법을 공부할 요량으로 가볍고 좋은 쌍안경이 있으면 좋겠다는 생각을 했는데

그 쌍안경의 매력에 빠지게되었다..
쌍안경으로 별을 바라보고있으면
영롱한 각각의 빛깔에 마냥 바라보고있어도 좋다..
별이 없는거같지만 쌍안경으로보면
깨알같이 수많은 별들이 보인다..
누워서 별을 바라보고있으면 시간이 어찌 지나가는지 모른다..

safari가 $100인점을 감안하면 $250로 비슷한 무게의 모델중 젤 고가이다..
맘같아선 7배율에 50mm 쌍안경을 갖고싶지만..
무게감때문에 쉽게 들고다니기 어렵다..
safari의 사용경험으로 비추어볼때
steiner의 쌍안경이라면 대물렌즈가 크지않아도
별자리 찾기에 부족함이 없을듯하다..
